After living in Boise for 21 years and having the privilege of being able to attend and see many activites that the Treasure Valley has to offer, I thought I would give daily suggestions on activities to do around the Treasure Valley. I am hoping that this will be useful information to those of you that are not only new to the area, but to those who have lived here many years as well.

Today’s weather is a perfect climate of 60 degrees and sunny. A great idea is grab the family or friends and take them to Zoo Boise. In case you haven’t been there for awhile, they have recently added an African Exhibit which includes lions, giraffes & zebras. This is a great new addition to the zoo and later this season, they will be adding boat rides.  The zoo is located right in the center of beautiful Julia Davis Park.   For more information on the zoo, check out this link:  http://www.zooboise.org/
